Text Box: Parents Guide to the Internet The Department of Education web page contains a pamphlet to assist and encourage parents to learn the internet so they may help their children develop these same skills. Includes very helpful, step by step information for parents including: a history of the internet, basic computer terms, how to use the internet, and practice examples. There is also a section related to child “safe-surfing” issues. Also contains links into family fun sites, also!.

The ARKids First program provides insurance for children of Arkansas families who cannot afford health insurance, yet earn too much to receive assistance. Along with an application package to determine eligibility and apply for benefits, the site also list frequently asked questions , a description of the medical benefits package, as well as a preventive shot schedule.
