Ashdown Junior High School

At Ashdown Junior High School, our number one concern is the success of our students.  We are so excited about all of the opportunities we have to help the students, and we are constantly looking for new ways to help them succeed.

 

Fundraising is of a major concern for our school.  In order to achieve the goals we have set, we must raise funds.  AJHS does many fundraising activities that last all year.  On our campus, we have a recycle bin.  Domtar gives us money to recycle paper and cardboard.  We recently received a check for $4,120.59 for our recycling efforts.  Please continue to bring your paper and cardboard.  We also collect used printer cartridges and old cell phones.  By recycling these, we are able to get money for our school.

 

In addition to the above mentioned activities, we also collect Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s Soup Labels, and Tyson’s Project A+ labels.  With your support we will be able to successfully raise money for AJHS.

 

Ask your family and friends to bring as many Box Tops as they can find to gatherings, and remind them to continue to collect all year long.  When shopping for the perfect gift, go to www.boxtopsforeducation.com and click on the Marketplace.  Our school will receive a percentage of every qualifying purchase just because you did some online shopping.

 

Campbell’s Soup Labels are also a valuable asset to our campus remember there are hundreds of products with these labels too.  Campbell’s Soup Labels can be found on many other products besides soup like V8, Franco-American, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson, Market Day, and Prego.  These labels allow our school to order valuable products for free.  Please remember to collect these this holiday season.  For more information, please visit www.labelsforeducation.com.  You can find information as well as valuable coupons.

Lastly, our school takes Tyson Project A+ labels.  These labels can be found on participating boxes, bags, and lunchmeat packages.  Each label is worth 24 cents for our school.  These savings truly do add up quickly.  Just save the box label on Tyson boxes and lunchmeat packages
